Founded in 1947, the Chinese Journal of Medical History is supervised by the China Association for Science and Technology, hosted by the Chinese Medical Association, and sponsored by the Institute of Chinese Medical History and Literature, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences.As the only professional academic journal of medical history in China, this journal is the communication garden and guide of medical history research, the carrier of Chinese traditional medicine, and the historical record of the development of Chinese medical science and health cause. Most of the papers are first reported, reflecting the latest and highest level of Chinese medical history research.Since 1980, it has been indexed in Medline database and Chemical Abstracts database.
